God speaks in haiku.
So short I almost missed
it. A single Word.
Sometimes God speaks with elegant simplicity
A frustratingly uncomplicated “yes”
In the midst of knowing “no”
Sometimes eternal word
Spoken briefly
Once in a span of ten thousand years
Feels far too abrupt
For any caring Father
Elsewhen we pause to marvel at the abundance
Of words spilling forth
In the poetry of creation
breathing syllables that caress our blood
with every failing carbon
Are these word beloved
Are they from my beloved
Breathed over the face of the deep

Lovely poetry….reveals thoughtful contemplation on ways our Father speaks to us. Your words are obviously from the heart of one who has heard his father speak to him in numerous ways.
Thank you, from one who never ceases to thrill at words from my loving God.
